This equipment is mainly used for the determination of impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as hard plastics, reinforced nylon, glass fiber reinforced plastics, ceramics, cast stone, electrical insulating materials, etc. It is an ideal test equipment for chemical industry, scientific research institutions, quality inspection departments of universities and colleges.
2. Meet the standards:
GB/T 3808-1995 Pendulum impact testing machine
GB/T 1843—96 Plastic Cantilever Beam Impact Test Method
ISO 180-1993 Determination of impact strength of plastic cantilever beams
ASTM D 5941, ASTM D 5942, ASTM D 256, ASTM D 4812
Cantilever beam: unnotched sample cantilever beam impact strength: the ratio of the impact energy absorbed by the unnotched sample in the cantilever impact and destruction process to the original cross-sectional area of the sample, expressed in KJ/m2.
Izod impact strength of notched specimen: The ratio of the impact energy absorbed by the notched specimen during the cantilever damage process to the original cross-sectional area of the specimen at the notch, expressed in KJ/m2.
Cantilever beam: use a pendulum of known energy to impact a sample that is supported as a vertical cantilever beam. Measure the energy absorbed when the sample is broken. The impact line is a fixed distance from the sample fixture. For a notched sample, the impact line is to the notch. The center line is a fixed distance.
5. Technical indicators:
1. Impact energy (the customer can choose one): see Table 1
Impact energy J Basic velocity m/s Maximum friction loss without sample has the allowable error of sample after correction
Note: Within the range of 10%-80% of the pendulum capacity, the allowable error should not be exceeded.
2. Impact blade radius: R 0.8±0.2mm
3. Pre-lift angle of pendulum: 160 degrees
