Performance and application of compression spring

Springs are generally of equal pitch. The shapes of compression springs are: cylindrical, conical, convex and concave, and a small amount of non-circular shapes. There is a certain gap between the coils of the compression spring. The spring shrinks and deforms under external load and stores deformation energy.

Compression Springs provide resistance to external load pressure. Compression springs are generally coiled and solid

fixed wire diameter. The compression spring uses multiple open coils to provide resistance to the external load (such as gravity pressing the wheel or the body pressing on the mattress).

That is, they push back to resist external pressure.
